Service Description
An exciting process is to finally be able to become a Canadian Citizen. However, it can also be very intimidating and overwhelming with all the information and work that involves becoming a Canadian Citizen.
There is an application process and eligibility criteria that an applicant needs to meet. The basic criteria are:- Be a Permanent Resident
- Have lived in Canada as a Permanent Resident for at least 1095 days out of the 5 years before you apply
- Have filed your taxes for at least 3 years during those 5 years. Any income tax owed must be paid
- Provide evidence that you know how to speak and write in one of Canada’s official languages There are also additional benefits if you have been in Canada as a temporary resident as you may be able to count some of this period towards your citizenship application.
